Experience Selector

The Immerse application offers many scenes in which you can facilitate instruction. You can also plan multi-scene lessons to further challenge your students.

The Experience Selector provides additional options for teachers, including:

  • Scene Selection

  • Access to Lesson Plans

  • Ability to Import or Export Lesson Plans

Changing Locations

Quickly navigate to any location:

  1. Click on the “Experience Selector.”

  2. Scroll or use the search field to find a location.

  3. Click on the location to load the scene.

Caution

Caution: Items stored in students’ backpacks and positioned in scenes will be deleted when the scene is changed.

 

Changing Lesson Plans

Quickly navigate to any lesson plan using the Experience Selector:

  1. Click on the “Experience Selector.”

  2. Click the “Plans” tab.

  3. Click on the plan you would like to teach to load it.

 

Saving a Lesson Plan to Your Computer

Save lesson plans you have created to your computer:

  1. Click on the “Experience Selector.”

  2. Click the “Plans” tab.

  3. Click the “3 dots” icon on the lesson you’d like to export.

  4. Click “Export.”

Saving All Lesson Plans to Your Computer

Export all of the lesson plans that you have created:

  1. Click on the “Experience Selector.”

  2. Click the “Plans” tab.

  3. Click the “save to computer” icon.

  4. Click “Yes.”

Importing Lesson Plans From Your Computer

Import lesson plans into the Immerse app:

  1. Click on the “Experience Selector.”

  2. Click the “Plans” tab.

  3. Click the “Import” icon.

  4. Click “Choose file,” and select the files you want to import.
