What user metrics are available through the platform?
As a research partner, you can record all interactions in Immerse for further analysis and also develop assessments & questionnaires for students targeting your specific research question.
In addition, there are some metrics automatically available through the platform that might be useful for research purposes. These are constantly expanding, but currently include for each participant:
- The number of lessons attended
- The amount of time spent in a lesson
- Amount of time spent in social lobby
- Lesson title, description, objective, vocab etc. of the lessons attended
In the future, we do plan to implement ways to get data about
- What students are interacting with most
- How long they spoke during a lesson
- Where their gaze is being directed most often
- And a number of other very VR specific metrics.
